It's a lot of work but I love researching ideas and designing it. This year, some Moms came up with a black and white theme so I ran with it. Here are several ideas I came across. -
The ladies
I just watched this 13 minute video on Aeon about two bickering 90-something year old sisters who still run their small couture shop. I always wonder if I'll be tooling around my NYC apartment making jewelry in my 90s. If I am, I hope I'm lucky enough to have someone there to bicker with. They had me laughing out loud. -
place settings
a daily somethingI'm looking for new place settings. We love having friends and family for dinner and I'd like to have something nice I can go to every time. With young children at home, it's so much easier and more peaceful than eating out. I'm looking for something simple with an organic feel but with a tiny touch of glam. -
happy thanksgiving
Have a Happy Thanksgiving everyone! My parents are in town and we're having friends and family over for dinner. I found these beautiful images online. I would love to have an outdoor upstate New York Thanksgiving one day. -

Every year my parents come into town, the boys go to the parade and family and friends join us for Thanksgiving dinner. I love the simplicity of this holiday. On the other hand, it also happens to be our busiest time of the year. On November 20th, I begin selling my jewelry at the Union Square Holiday Market, which I absolutely love, but it leaves me little time to prepare for Thanksgiving. So I plan ahead so I can enjoy my favorite holiday with my favorite people. For a little Thanksgiving inspiration, I found these beautiful place settings and table settings around the web.Follow my blog with Bloglovin
