Favorite Things: Vol. 4

1. I’ve been low-key obsessed searching for a walnut record player ever since I visited this listening room in Kyoto—a Japanese record bar with an upstairs shop devoted entirely to jazz. I’m still kicking myself for not buying a record while I was there. Meanwhile, I’ve been following this account on Instagram. I can totally see myself kicked back in my apartment just like that.

2. I’ve been frequenting Café Integral in Nolita a lot lately. I love their matcha latte made with house-made coconut milk—it’s comforting, and just feels right this time of year.

3. Our Dainty Garnet Necklace feels especially perfect for the winter months. Its deep, rich burgundy color pairs well with heavier layers, and garnet—January’s birthstone—has a grounding energy. Have you noticed how birthstones often seem to align with the seasons and astrology?

4. East Village Books on St. Marks is one of my favorite places to wander. They carry rare, obscure books and zines, feature lots of local artists and writers, and they have the sweetest shop cat, Ally.

5. I’ve been listening to a lot of music lately while making jewelry, and I was struck by how relevant this Bob Dylan song still feels today. Music can be incredibly stirring—sometimes unexpectedly so.

6. It’s been freezing here in New York City, and my HigherDOSE sauna blanket has truly been saving me.

7. Our new Wellness Stone Pendant Holder is a cage-style pendant that opens, allowing you to carry whatever tiny wellness stone you’re drawn to. I carry my favorite gemstone, moonstone in mine. It’s the perfect necklace to wear over chunky sweaters or tucked under coats during winter. The design was inspired by Mia Farrow’s “Tannis Root” pendant in Rosemary’s Baby—one of my all-time favorite films.

8. Lastly, I’ve been really wanting to try this Hojicha tea from CAP Beauty. It feels especially wintery to me, and I already love their matcha, so I’m curious to see how this compares.
