About Us

Hello my name is Tiffany Bean and I’m a jewelry designer living in New York City with my husband, Craig, and our two young boys, Luca and Julian. Lolabean began in 2005 and has grown into a thriving family business. I make 90% of the collection and my husband makes the rest with custom stamping.

I am originally from Tennessee and a graduate of The University of Tennessee at Knoxville. I moved to New York in 1999. Soon after I began studying at Parsons School of Design where I found myself sketching jewelry and day dreaming about having my own line one day.

Following school, I worked as a graphic designer and later at the Art Directors Club. While at the ADC, I was able to work alongside some of the most creative and innovative leaders in the visual arts industry. It was an eye-opening experience that gave me the confidence to develop and shape my own brand. It wasn't long before I stepped out on my own and started Lolabean. My background in graphic design gave me a unique perspective, not only in creating my jewelry but also creating my branding, website, photography and business identity.

Lolabean has been described as minimalist and feminine. I love creating jewelry that doesn't weigh one down. They are simple pieces that are easy to wear everyday and perfect for layering several pieces and lengths together.

Living in New York City has shaped who I am both personally and creatively but I draw inspiration from everything including travel, fashion, home decor, blogs, architecture, art and more. The jewelry line is handmade at our home in New York City.
