As a young 20 something in NYC, I was completely smitten with Edna St. Vincent Millay and her poetry. I loved her fiery sonnets about independence and she made me feel like the strongest girl in the whole wide world. Admittedly, I still stalk her former home when I'm in Greenwich Village. It's the narrowest home in New York City by the way and just sold for 3.25 million!
My family and I travel to San Francisco for a month every summer to work. We stay by Dolores Park in the Mission and we just love the neighborhood. The Mission is oozing with creativity. Most shops have local or handmade only goods - no imports and most even make their very own in store displays. Shop small is the motto. It's an amazing place and so inspiring.
We stayed a little longer this summer so I could photograph my jewelry and create a new website. So thanks San Francisco from the bottom of my heart. I love you!
To feel inspired to design and make jewelry I'll look everywhere and go almost anywhere. All it takes for me is to feel creative. I'll look at fashion, home decor, blogs, architecture, art and more. It's a visual process. This blog is dedicated to just that – things that wow me that I'd like to share and to hopefully give my poor husband a much needed break!
I love this geometric pillow and its colors. I'm currently having a geometric and a pink obsession which inspired my new logo, a few pieces of jewelry and some product shots.
