I'm trying to figure out the best plan for Julian and Luca's bedroom. It will be shared. We are giving them our larger bedroom and moving into their tiny one. I just want them to have space to play and be boys. I cannot decide between twin beds or bunk beds. Bunk beds are for sure the most practical way to go but I love, love, love the first image and keep gravitating towards rooms with twin beds. Here are my favorites so far from around the web.

cozy nooks

I have a very small home in New York City but I made space for a cozy little reading nook. I created a built in window seat with a bunch of cozy pillows and a wall lamp. It's so nice to have a little spot to curl up, read and relax. I'm actually sitting here writing my blog now. My son Luca uses it all the time to sort through his beloved Pokemon cards. Seeing him there makes me so happy. Here are some nice little nooks found around the web.

I'm always asked if I like living in New York. The answer is I LOVE living in New York. Honestly though, sometimes this city can chew me up and spit me out faster than I can blink which makes me think of this hilarious article. Personally, I've found the key to a balanced life in the city is to get out into nature as much as possible. Luckily I live only a short walk to Central Park. My dog Lola and I wake up early most mornings and take a long walk in the park before I walk my son to school. Here are some beautiful images taken early today along our path. By the way, the park is absolutely gorgeous right now.

I love city life but my biggest wish is to have our little apartment here in the city and some land upstate one day. This lawn is gorgeous.
